A decrease in followers lead to one church reaching out for help
The Project
I’m excited to say that I am a part of a Brand Revival for a local church in my community. Family Christian Center Church of God needed a new start as the coronavirus hit and followers started to diminish. The pastor sought me out and asked if I could not only make a new logo, but also create a website for them. I was thrilled with the opportunity and immediately stared to draw up logos.
The Logo
The original church logo was a cross meshing with a flame of fire. But for the rebrand, I wanted it to look fresh and new but at the same time traditional. My first idea was to combine the church’s exterior and merge it with a Bible. At first I really enjoyed it however after some revision I thought it was a little complex and decided to try a different and more simple approach.
The Website
For the website I wanted something clean and practical for the church to use. I condensed the content that the pastor wanted to included and organized it in an easy to use layout. As of right now, we are still working on the website content, however, the frame is set.
